Puja Allepalli is one of the most passionate and prominent Indian Classical dancers 
and choreographers. Puja is blessed to have been trained under Guru. Ratnam 
Janardhanan and the legendary Guru Padmashri late Sri. Adyar K. Lakshman in the 
Kalakshetra style characterized by traditional purity, grace and vigor. She is 
currently under the tutelage of Padmabhushan Alarmel Valli. By the age of sixteen 
Puja took the center stage for many prominent dance festivals in Central and North 
India. She has completed Vishaarad in Bharatanatyam from Akhil Bharatiya Baal 
Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai. She is a certified yoga instructor from 
Yoga Alliance, USA. Academically brilliant, Puja graduated with an MBA degree 
with top honors. Over the years she has been awarded titles like" Yuva Kala 
Ratna", "Nritya Siromani", "Natya Saradhi". She was the recipient of first prize in 
Maharashtra state level dance competition: Spandan. She is a graded artist of 
Doordarshan and her programs have been featured in DD Podhigai, Kalinga TV, 
Saptagiri, Asia net, Doordarshan, and Sun TV.

'Shivanjali Center for Fine Arts' founded by Puja in 2004 is a culmination of her 
love to work with children and her passion for Bharatanatyam. Being a prominent 
performing artist at most reputed 'Chennai Dance Season' which is considered the 
capital and cultural melting pot for this art form, Puja brings her rich experience 
into her classes and brings the best out of her students. She helps the kids re-
discover themselves, create self awareness, develop confidence and enjoy 
dancing. Yoga is an integral part of training the students. Puja trains her students 
with a great eye for perfection and under her able guidance the students have 
performed at dance festivals in Colorado, New Mexico, New Jersey, Cleaveland, 
California, Texas and several reputed auditoriums and temples in  New Delhi, 
Hyderabad, Guruvayur, Bangalore , Pune and Mumbai in India. Puja teaches 
creatively and nurtures the artistic talents in children and youth and seeing those 
students and their talents blossom, are among the great joys of her teaching.
